Volunteer Opportunities
Saint Mary's School has a long history of students, parents, faculty, staff and friends of Saint Mary's volunteering for a wide range of helpful and often necessary activities that support the School's ministry to our youth. The work of so many make Saint Mary's a vibrant community full of rich and rewarding growth and development experiences for our students. Vision Screening
A minimum of 14 volunteers are needed to help with Vision Screening, Thursday, October 28th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. A great way to help the children of our school with a very short commitment of time.

MarketPlace Volunteers Needed
Marketplace will be held at St. Mary's October 21st 6-9pm
Positions available--
Food & Beverage:
We are in need of 12-15 families to DONATE passable appetizers to feed 20 people or at least 20-25 pieces(preferably cold) such as a tortilla roll-up, skewer of chicken or veggies, anything that does not require a utensil to eat!
Set-Up:
We are in need of 1 or 2 people who would like to manage decorating 2 ticket tables. Will need to use your creative/preppy juices and possibly some of your own materials such as table cloths, etc. This is a SUPER job for a couple of friends to pitch in & work on together!!!
Clean-Up:
We are in need of 4 people who can help clean-up at the end of the event…from about 8:45-10:00…it’s really fun!!!
Ticket Takers/Greeters:
We are in need of 2 or 3 volunteers to help welcome our shopping guests and collect/sell tickets…this is a great opportunity for 2 friends to work together on a shift! Shifts are from 5:30-7:00 & 7:00-8:30….
Marketing:
We are in need of volunteers to help spread the word about our awesome event!!! Jobs include: hanging fliers in area businesses, contacting local churches & schools to see if we can put a “blurb” in their newsletters or bulletins, set up a Facebook page for The Marketplace, email Moms groups, book clubs, etc. If you can help in this area, please let us know!

Library Room Parent Needed
Mrs. Taylor needs a Room Parent to assist with the following for the year:
1. Schedule voluteers to work at both book fairs
2. Coordinate volunteers to repair books 4 times a year (after each grading period)
3. Gather a group (4 - 6 parents) to put AR stickers on all AR books. (Monthly project)
4. Organize and gather volunteers to help with Clean Up the Library Day in June. Last week of school from 8:00 AM to noon.

IT Committee
Members needed - Meet Monthly to determine what needs updating/upgrading, repairing or adding to our network and computer systems. First organizationial meeting is Monday, September 13th at 7:00 PM in the computer lab.
