Three Great Events; One Memorable Evening!

This year our Book Fair Family Shopping Event, Spring Sing performance and Art Show will take place on Thursday, May 15th.


We are excited to welcome you to what promises to be a very special evening together!


The Book Fair will open first at 4:00 p.m. and will close at 6:00 p.m., so that students performing in the Spring Sing can report to their classrooms. The Art Show will open at 6:00 p.m. and the Spring Sing will begin at 6:30 p.m.


Below are some items to keep in mind as you plan ahead for next week: 


Scholastic Book Fair

In addition to the information available on our Book Fair homepage, we’ve compiled a list of everything you need to know below. Every Book Fair purchase helps us to buy new books for our students!


Dates:  Monday, 5/12 through Friday, 5/16; Family Shopping Event 5/15, 4-6pm

Volunteers & Donations Needed

If you’re interested in volunteering, sign-up here.

We are still collecting used books if you would like to donate.

We are also collecting plastic and paper bags to use at checkout.


NEW! Summer Reading Preview @ Spring Book Fair

We’ve partnered with Scholastic to make it easier for you to stock up on these titles now for your rising 2nd through 8th graders!


Lollipop Pull

Students can purchase a tootsie pop for $1. If the pop they choose has a color on the bottom, they win either a prize or a poster.


Classroom Wish Lists & New Teacher Welcome Books Will Be On Display

Refreshing our classroom libraries regularly gives kids a reason to keep reading. Help welcome new teachers in the Fall by purchasing a book or two this Spring! 


Some tips to consider before your student shops:

  • Set up an eWallet which gives students a secure, cash-free way to shop.
  • Get a jump-start on shopping through our Online Book Fair starting Monday, 5/12.
  • Please know that we are required to charge tax on every purchase, so please send your children enough money to cover tax in addition to their book cost total. 
  • While some books have not yet been released, and won’t be at the Fair, you can still pre-purchase them during the Fair in order to benefit our school library. 


Spring Sing Performers (Grades K, 2, 4, 6 & 8 ONLY)

  • Students should report to their homeroom or classroom teachers’ room at 6:00 p.m.
  • Drop off will be at the front entrance for all grades except K and 8.
  • Kindergarten should be dropped off at the ECDC doors.
  • Grade 8 students will meet in the Music Room. They may be dropped off at back music room doors (located near the back parking lot by the playground).
  • After student drop-off, families should continue to the church where they may enter through the front doors.
  • Church doors will be open to enter the sanctuary at 6:10 p.m. with the performance starting at 6:30 p.m.


Student Dress CodePlease keep in mind that this is a formal event in a church, so please ensure students are appropriately dressed. Feel free to add some color as it is a Spring performance!


Boys 

  • May wear their uniform shorts or dress pants. 
  • No ripped jeans or athletic wear.
  • Ties are optional, but encouraged, if wearing a dress shirt. 
  • Short sleeve polos are also acceptable. 
  • Sneakers are allowed but only if they are clean and in good condition.


Girls 

  • May wear a dress, a skirt and top, or a pair of dress pants and a blouse.
  • Skirt length and sleeve length must adhere to TAG day dress code (which can be found in the Student/Parent Handbook).
  • Heels may be worn, but please keep them 2” or less. Students will be walking and climbing stairs/risers so they need to be safe in the footwear they choose.


If your child is unable to attend the concert portion of this event,  please email Mrs. Moretti ASAP so that she can plan accordingly for your student’s absence at the performance.


Art Show & Sale

Open 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Church’s Upper Commons. 


  • Your child’s framed artwork can be purchased on-site with credit card, cash, Apple Pay or Venmo. 
  • You may also pre-order frames HERE (please note that you cannot preview your child’s artwork on this site).
  • If you are purchasing multiple framed copies of your child’s artwork, please note the number of frames in parenthesis when prompted to provide your child’s name, grade and homeroom teacher. Make sure the quantity in your cart reflects the total number of frames you need before completing pre-payment online.
  • Please save your confirmation email and be ready to present it at the Show.
