MAY CROWNING 2023

Katie Botha • May 5, 2023

Father Mike’s beautiful homily reminded us of two co-existing images of Mother Mary’s holiness: Mary as the Queen of Heaven and Mary as a devoted and hard working Mother of God.

Congratulations to Megan J., this year’s 8th grader elected by her peers for embodying Mary’s holy attributes. Megan participated in the procession at the end of School Mass to crown Mary with flower offerings presented by student representatives from every grade.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the celebration of this long time Saint Mary’s tradition, especially Mrs. Slifka, our students, faculty, staff and of course the many parents and grandparents who made time to spend their morning with us honoring our Holy Queen!
